Nature Recovery Strategies
The Kent Local Nature Recovery Strategy is a 25-year plan to maintain, restore and create habitats that are thriving with wildlife and plants. It is established under the Environment Act 2021 and provides the opportunity to deliver an ecologically coherent and landscape scale, strategic approach to nature recovery. Kent County Council is the responsible authority for the Kent and Medway area. The strategy will contribute to a nationwide network of action to restore wildlife habitats and deliver wider environmental benefits.
